Without empathy there can be no real help unless the receiver is desperate. To explain solution to another person it must be understood where that person is at. Quite often people try to shove answers down another person’s throat without care or understanding as to where that receiver is. Its as if they want people to follow their directions but don’t realize that the other person is totally elsewhere so their three left turns are superfluous.
Quite often it is an action of respect and self-validation. Showing another you care enough just to try and empathize with them will allow you two to connect and feel emotionally real to one another enough for your known solutions to be seen in proper light. We are very emotional creatures living in a very unemotional and standardized world.
