The availability heuristic is a cognitive bias where a mind finds the information most readily available being the most accurate. This is not accurate but how a mind works. We dash about the recent thoughts instead of examining dynamics of a situation to find truth but we find ourselves repeating what the self said yesterday only in this episode a slightly new situation has arisen. But real life doesn’t work that way. So here is what I propose to setting the tides of the mind to flow better, apart form the constant insist to be more present in this moment than in the previous.

It is easy to redecorate the inside of one’s mind and slightly more difficult but highly more productive to use what comes to hand as a tool. There are two ways that I have figured to redesign the effects of this cognitive bias.

FIrstly, remember that anything that bothers you is a passion of yours but in a different form. If someone truly irritates you then they have traits you fear or wish you could overcome. If a situation really bothers you then there is gold in it. Often reversing the situation of a huge bother will produce the idea of a huge treasure, and that is something one can seek! So its worth pondering in detail and full sensory grasp so to keep present for a good heading.

Secondly, create thoughts you would want around. Birng out concepts that will shine truth and put skepticism, scrutiny and pragmatic action as the fist observation points. I like to realize that there is knowledge in every thing and try to find depth rather than breadth. Also every perspective has something to teach so do not dismiss a negative or objectionable interaction however don’t dwell. Keep in mind that seeking and striving.
