To hate something actively entails putting energy, time and thought into something one does not want or like. If one wants to destroy it, or create the opposite of it then this makes perfect sense. But to hold a grudge or somehow make something horrid and evil then put it inside yourself instead of making something beautiful and giving that your effort, is plain and simple fucking stupid. Negligent to your own well being. Yet we judge ourselves after the fact of so many things. Learning does include an observation and critiquing issues however the emotional stimulation of an attack on an issues deters from any information that could be useful and engages a mind in some petty high that is far beneath the alternative; its also habit forming.
Talking down to people is bad. The self is people. Too quickly do we find ourselves second guessing ourselves without realizing we are doing it when we start getting off on the judgments instead of getting off on the learning. No judgment should hold water if it cannot provide a lesson and the ego, the thrill, the pull towards it is a heinous poison that will affect nothing good. Creating good does not mean destroying things but making or replacing issues. Call the bad whatever you will, without good to replace it, you are nothing but a name caller. A silly prick pointing at a burning building, asking for attention and helping naught.
It becomes so subconscious that we forget we are doing it among others. Consumed by the ego and the slight of sight we fall into thinking ourselves higher on the social playa that a human psyche perceives. Without confronting this, discontinuing, addressing it as an inappropriate investment of emotion and effort then creating a God to fill this devil’s seat, it will return. And without making this a pleasure to do, for you are blessing yourself, the judgments are still in command.
