Tricks of memory are flights of fancy without work or tire when they are exercises of desire and enjoyment. If one allows themselves to be completely immersed in a topic, they need to forget that the idea that they won’t remember along with the symptom that this isn’t worth every second of attention. Becoming engaged with one’s life is more important than being condescending on a moment for each is a pattern that begets itself.
Every little piece is important and looking at it otherwise will break your scope. In memorizing numbers, identifying groups is the easiest way and as the story itself goes,IE the full number is said, seen, or heard, the numbers connect to their order. For memorizing the world at hand, take each little piece of life as if it is of extreme wonder and value. Only in giving this much respect and thought-lust to all facets will greatness be found.
The paradox of escapism runs wild with the lack of this concept put into drive. Running to the next thing, hoping its the best thing will create a momentum and a pattern in a person’s brain that they must do this. And never will they find anything good because that pattern is now in play. If for a second, something is worthwhile, they will see it and still be willed to run elsewhere by habit, gut reaction and practice. This is why it is key to practice looking for depth. This paradox works the same with finding greatness in people and that is my favorite example to show the largest lie it tells. If at first a person seems shitty, others become discouraged and give up. But a great person needs cultivation, as does a seemingly shitty person, to bloom.
The farther one thinks about a thing, the more likely they are to find something great rather than if they look at a ton of things without giving any depth.
