There is a likemindedness to seeing things as terrible or wonderful. People in your own likemindedness will agree with you in times when they should disagree because you are both in that same perception of things. But this likemindedness is a set of ideas and perceptions which sets course just as it holds one back. The same way a bomb becomes a gun when you put the explosion in a barrel. Maybe there are other shapes and directions you can put your explosion in. Humans enjoy consistency because it creates simplicity and predictability. That is our barrel and we are the explosion. We always can change our stars. The very first way is seeing what else is out there DESPITE that innate human need and desire to stay in a set path.
Now how to do this is a bit maddening. Like, you actually have to do things that make you feel crazy because doing what feels logical and set falls within the options that you are comfortable in. Random spastic actions are panic but do create something different; subtract the panic emotion that comes with and you will have aimed chaos. That is the hard way and it is also the best way. Start looking in place you would not normally look. Call the employment office at school, google success stories and who makes the most money then follow their story and see how they got to where they are, go to a religious house you do not attend and learn something new, think of something you don’t like but who loves their life and imagine how they live their daily life. It is very easy to find new options, it’s just different.
The more annoying part is the part we have always known how to do, refining our actions and schedule. One has to make a schedule to get anything done. That is just creating a battle plan. What is the goal you have and where are you now? Answer those questions in complete honesty and then start connecting the dots or web or waves or whatever you like calling the path between; matrix, godspell, ninja course are acceptable and the list goes further until you find the path name that gets you going but find that. Look at what is immediately important and required. Find what you need to do and refresh your gaze at the things around you, enumerate do not approximate. There are many sources and they must be read until the new appropriate standard is found!
The search is important. There could be a submarine waiting to take you to the land of milk, honey, and orgasm roller-coasters. But without looking… well it’s gunna get dusty and lonely.
