There is a simple philosophy I have come to adopt on human society, everyone I meet is my friend. This is both an aim and not a projection. Human minds project their 16 first social understands onto everyone else they meet and further more project their general thousand people they meet as the entire world. Here is why I assume if I meet you, you are my friend because you’re part of my real world and all I really can have effect on. There’s also the self-fulfilling prophecy as people become what we treat them and we become what we believe ourselves to be.

For all of your goals, there are people involved, an environment of desire, and many helpful elements in mind. To get here one must read the room. If you need people to love you or want you in a certain way then you first must know who they are and where they’re at. If you need an environment that challenges you, you have to be able to know what current walls and rivers you’re washing on. Knowing your goal is key but without understanding how to get that key out of the lock its in is reaping futility. Create these goals for the propulsion and fluidity one wants. Then read the room, what are you working with?

Getting people and things on your side takes time, thought and work. It is incredibly easy though. People want to be the best things they can be. We live in a state which is socially fluid, not statical.

Almost all social relationships are self-fulfilling prophecies in that they continue to behave as they are treated. Act like someone is your enemy or treat them like your friend and they will respond relatively so.

Much like in writing a story, the characters in your life must feel the correct way to reciprocate the behavior to create the scene you want. And your life is a story you’re writing, you just don’t have complete pen control or an eraser. Treating them like the folks you need in your life is both a sentimental gift and highly prestigious request. Treat it as both and them like they’re that big a deal.

Knowing the people you need in your life takes thought and planning. Recognize what you want and then who will need to be around you both to propel you forward and support the world needed for this adventure. Treating your immediate amigos this way is simple but mentally jarring at first; do it. Construct the reality you want always requires the people around you being game for the new adventure
