How do you need to feel today to do what you want? It is myth of human legend that our emotions control us and are unbound by our own decisions and actions. It is an irresponsible myth. Mapping out how you have felt for the past few weeks or months is not difficult. Doing so shows pattern and one quickly realized they knew they were going to feel that way.

Shock effect is terrifying and debilitating. The topic that is shocking is not anywhere near the experience and drastic change though. As a person begins to plan out their emotional livelihood and schedule they will find that nutty things may happen. Getting prepared for this is huge. It’s why firemen, polygamous folks, skydivers don’t lose their minds at a constant; they’ve emotionally prepped themselves instead for their gf sleeping with someone else or falling out a plane or a person burning to death in front of them. The shock effect becomes childish when emotional planning becomes normal.

Create a chart and schedule. What is coming up and how do you want to feel during these? What is going to be problematic during these that you will have to deal with? Highs and lows can be much better managed when examined with realism and ones behavior patterns honestly. This is not over-structuring but admitting humans are beasts of emotion then deciding to take that power by the reigns instead of being a rag doll passenger.
