The biggest limits in this life are those we put on ourselves. Human perception and calculation is limited with its biases and evolutionarily built in survival tactics of ego, stereotyping and fear. Presuming the pretty boy or girl doesn’t want to fuck your brains out is just as limiting as the force behind the semi truck going eighty miles an hour when you’re standing in the middle of the free way punching it because you think you’ve gone supersaiyan. Neither of these whims gets tested so the proof that it won’t work is in our heads. Maybe your dream job wants you and you just never asked her to dance. Calculations aren’t anywhere as good ole fucking up. Give it a try before you say its impossible.
Measuring out the effects is not an impossible feat. Turning one’s head to the possibility does make a feat impossible. It is very easy for anybody to think through the possible dangers and examine how they’re going to feel at the end of each different fork’s end tale. It is not often done though, human cognitive expediency or laziness or something fucking up our days. It is definitely better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all. Not because of the damage from the love everyone fears but from the life of wondering and wanting then feeling worthless while hating the option you did pick. If that isn’t the earthly definition of hell then Milton’s a liar.
We find what we look for, so if we never go looking then we CAN’T find it. Our abilities far outweigh our understanding of ourselves. We’re just kids following kids in suits doing what kids in corporate and oval offices said is right. This is still a great big world with new adventures around every corner. They don’t go away because we get old, we just call them gay and shit-talk their greatness away.
