We live in a period of history where the major religions of the world are ones categorized by fear-mongering, marketing to the scared and scaring the feeble then selling them answers with no validity but telling them not to question then to pretend, or be more faithful, and in this bowing to an imaginary solution do they create answers and solace by giving up their own power and responsibility to a made up greater power. The same happens with fashion, business, economy, politics and everything mass media touches. They are scaring people and then telling them that their way works then in that fearful state, people join a faulty cause they don’t believe in. They sell themselves out. The true self is one you do not answer to but create and thrive because you are. True faith comes from within, not from outside.
To honor one’s own integrity and individual emotional and personal pride, there must be resilience to that sort of bullshit. Fear is rapid and social structures set precedence on fitting in, so the disease is infectious. Combatting it takes identifying what routes can affect you as well as isolating your own values. The second step isn’t hard and the first one may seem offensive, it’s truly a more honest and accurate portrayal of how things work. No matter how poor or hungry or cold you are, you have your values and fixing any of those things by sacrificing yourself means you’re not getting paid or fed or warmed because you’re not being you. You’re being their whore. And whores are good people, don’t ruin whore’s good names by being a big ole sack of shit like that!
So what is the real self? It is nothing one has nor what one has achieved but how one moves and what they allow themselves to feel then the pride they take in their in-moment awareness, their being in the now is what one really is. Answering to one’s self and fully allowing transparency between the ego, insecurity to the awaken mental critique and shift. What makes one happy and pure is their want and freedom to answer to their own emotions and let one’s self be content fully. All the emotions possibly available are currently in one’s head and to think otherwise is physically impossible therefore fucking stupid. The real self is outside of groups. The real self is allowing complete comfort and immediacy to one’s possible wrongs and most earnest dreams as well as deepest fears and the addressing. The real self is free and until one can move their emotions and personality, one is not free or real. Trying to fit in or be safe or own up or outdo is not being real. If you are you’re true self then you love to learn and you eagerly pursue things that you love while openly and clearly dismissing casually what you do not, without shame or excess. You enjoy the change because will always, has always, and is always just scenery. Your emotional state of honesty and personal sense of genuine integrity, that is answering you alone first is true. In the end all else is fallacy and fucks you up. Because no matter what anyone else gives you, its always gunna be you that you have to answer to at the end of the day.
