Coolness is a made up thing. Its similar to confidence but even less tangible. You are it, because you are it. If you believe you are cool, then you are cool. The more you believe in it, the more real it is. Many small things can be noted as comparable but actual belief and the amount, the certainty, is what tells the most. So let yourself be the coolest. Believe that you are hot shit and you don’t need a reason why.
Many people fall into facades of this concept. That others must like them, fear them, admire them and all this is really being a slave to others and falls into a cycle of bullshitting each other that you don’t care about their opinions until they care about you. A wall flower off of the anti-wallflowers. But Im not trying to get at that kind of cool. There is an amount of worth you give yourself that is absolute from what you are doing, have done, or any thing else tangible. It takes place in the mind, not the brain or real world. Its just how you feel and decide to be about yourself.
Another sad fallacy of being worthy or cool is that it has to be new or trendy or exciting. You just have to like you and let that shit flow. No cars or styles will save you until you let yourself be the best. It’s skipping the whole bullshit process of saving yourself because you are already great. Its a just a perception of believing otherwise. Imagine the greatest shit you know, you want, that you admire. Take those feelings and aim them at you because since you made them, they are from and of you. You deserve to feel and be that great since you are. Its just a change of aim. Then, believe and let the world love you too. That part sounds easy, because it is easy but holy Christ on fire cause he can’t jump in the lake do we make it hard.
Under no pressure should you stop loving yourself this much, ever. The world will deliver what you believe you are, you just gotta believe and keep moving forward. Not bullshitting or pretending, but singing the song and walking the walk like you mean it because you do.
