It feels good to hit all the high points. There is no waiting in the between. If one could feel impatient or doubtful, there’s not allocated time for that. Being fed only happy single images and top notches of a relationship’s emotional train made seem rollercoaster creates an unrealistic makeup and expectation for sensation and story contingency; life’s not believable like that. The brain starts to think like that, skips key points in the rising and falling action that prep for the high-points so keenly and cock-eye’edly sought. Everything needs a logical flow and that flow is where the makeup gets its flow. No painting is just the bright colors even though that is all the reports can touch on. The flow in between cannot be lost because that’s what makes it real. More listening to news, watching TV, seeing ads stimulates a perception based solely on that brand of bull-shittery. That’s a logically flawed function and until dismissed at a constant or not allowed to be important internally, a mind will suffer.

One of the great ways to catch yourself is to monitor biofeedback. Watch your heart-rate, energy level, breath, excitement levels. Allow yourself to sit and breath for ten minutes, watch if you get jumpy or feel uncontrollably thought-provoked and need action or something to do and or think about. Many minds always want stimulation but when the stimulation becomes a fix to state of discomfort or learned lack, then there is issues to reconcile. Do you always have to have the music on or can you just sit and listen; are you able to think smoothly without a distraction. The inability so simple “be” is a red flag and clear sign through a human ego-blockade that one is in a stimulated addictive mindset.

There is beauty to the order of a mind and why its beneficial. No story is complete on a jumpy track, one may buy it if they’re unengaged where as being into the story or actually living it, it would be excessively insulting and logically flawed. Imagine a date where one jumps from buying roses to penetration. There is no flow, there is no contingency, there is no small talk, there is no nuance or time to be real, and it hurts your mind. Getting to know someone is like getting into a story. How the walls feel, who excite each other, why the sun sets in the north and the ravens wont crow anymore. There is more to a good story, a good date, a fluid mind and a full thought deserves that sort of detail attention. The more one becomes jumpy, the less real and the less engaged they are. To make good foreplay, to create a solid thought, there must be full structure or you just have a roof and a front door.

How we fall back into it is all too simple and without being aware of it will slip us into a cold dark sleep of mental absence and giddy idiocy that oversights any real worth. We fall back into it from panicking. Overstimulation is an escape and it feels physically right because it releases a lot of chemicals in our brains. New things are exciting, even if they’re all crap and unfounded. They are new so the brain has been formatted to feel excitement because the chance of more food, better mates, escaping rule or threat is there. It is immature and fearful to let that happen. When things become excessively difficult, the brain jumps to easy and quick stimulation. Indulge on the enjoyment of a new challenge. Instant gratification is bad so instant figuring something out would also be worthless, higher levels of difficulty mean that something worthwhile has come into light. Enjoy that and create a positive reputation in your mind for that sort of thing to help get away from this.

Socializing occurs with this process then embedding our minds in a functional norm of expected montage`s. Flurries of images and ideas become the natural way one’s mind propels or detracts from a thing. This is unhealthy because it sticks to a scarlet letter of zero bleeding truth. A story can’t be written without a fluid flow from start to finish so skipping to the highlights FEELS good then means nothing. Meaning is how we find happiness, ask Victor Frankl. It falls flat on its face after the high goes away. To get rid of this, create an alarm sound for the system of overstimulated excitement. On good and bad sides of the platter. While bad may be more difficult, good is easier and makes for great practice for the good. It will seem irritating and the brain will resist, the brain likes drugs and uppers. You are in control, the brain does what its told, just keep telling it and believe in the orders you give.
