Yes I’ve been a disgrace,
Yes I’ve made mistakes.
The one thing I learned in life,
Is that no one is perfect.
I’ve shed tears,
I’ve made bad decisions.
I’ve lost those closest to me.
And I’ve torn myself apart multiple times,
Trying to kill people with kindness.
People in this world will take your kindness for granted.
They will push you till you break.
The pain, misery and isolation will wash over you like a wave.
But once you finally breathe, escape the toxic that surrounds you and start fighting back,
That’s when you know life won’t hold you down from the future battles you will win.
All this sounds easy but it’s the hardest lesson you will ever learn,
You just have to remember…
You’ve been hurt and shut out,
You know pain.
All heartache in your life made you into the warrior you are today.
Don’t let your past mistakes shape the person you will become.
Look at yourself in the mirror and remind yourself,
“I’m a fucking legend and I will leave my mark behind.”
