Where do our feelings and thoughts originate? From what we are thinking about. Nobody is making us feel a certain way, and the reoccurring thoughts are ones we are employing. If horrible emotions are overrunning us, then we must be contemplating things we can’t and don’t want to deal with. Allowing the self thoughts which compel strong self-esteem, great things coming and being available, trust and love all create those sorts of emotions. There is, at this very moment, a child being raped to death in Thailand. THATS HORRIBLE! But we aren’t thinking about Chin so it doesn’t affect us. The idea that things instantly affect us is childish. Playing that forward, the things we do think about are all that affect us. And we are in control of out thoughts. So keep the mind refreshed in good themes which are good thoughts.

Cementing strong thoughts takes asking how you want to feel, where do you want to go, what do you want to able to feel like, who do you want around you, where do you want to be, and running through those in a head-flict. Remember a handful of times you have done things you are proud of and you will feel self-esteem. Reminisce about your favorite moments in books and movies where your heroes and heroins pulled off fantastic moves you feel in love with. Byron Katie has an entire self-help empire built on the idea that only the thoughts you believe have power. So believe in these just as the flesh on your face and the air in front of you. You are in control of all this and no one else.

It also takes removing the thoughts you have which are shitty. This does not mean ignorance but acknowledging things you hate and fear then creating the thoughts which are the opposite. Essentially this is priming for great plans; since you hate it, create the opposite. See what is inside you as the riddle to solve for unlocking the higher self, and create it. For you are always bigger than whats inside of you, cause fucking physics.

Defending your insecurities is a weird wrinkle humans run into. We are built to not want to show our wounds or be weak so we deny we have them. It is of them to count the strong and successful as against us, mocking us, or even stupid and evil. This action makes one not follow paths which would lead to success out of resentment. Remember all which stands against these thoughts is usually about defending your insecurity out of fear and not growing stronger. Narrative theory and sunken cost fallacy explain that a person wants their life-story to make sense but the strongest thing a person can do is change their pace into some good, right now. Let go of the pain being right, and be the best you right the fuck now.

So do a run through in your mind of five examples and believe in them as real, get visceral in the feelings. Keep the people on your mind who inspire and think highly of you then minimize the people you loathe and who depress you or whom you can’t help. Each one inspires more thoughts of the like. Create the feelings you want by asking yourself questions, looking for the opposite of what you hate, and seek what the world and people need then run through thoughts that inspire that. And believe in it. What you really are is what you make yourself, starting now.
