The successful folk comes from the same echelons of backstory; they’re rich and well backed up and talented… but there are also rich, smart and motivated beings who get nothing done! Where lays the difference?
My suggestion is that it lays in expectation in one’s emotional stasis. How you feel you are going to do affects the thoughts you create today which become the actions you take right now. Believing that tomorrow will be full of success in what you aim for, requires something in one’s mind to project at that. Normally, it is proof via experience. There is the alternative of pretending and innovation in thought. Making up a story holding the climate of victory rains the parade that floods forward one’s passion and confidence.
Get into it, more depth than reward though. Make yourself see the best path then allow yourself to emotionally embrace it’s tone. Follow through with considering the step next that would consolidate its existence. Jump through the hoops in your mind with the bounce in your heart that you’re going to make it. Fantasize then gaze longingly at your story and finally allow yourself to not just wonder but think on it. Measure, bend, critique, calculate, plan and trust in the final feeling just like you know hitting a light switch is going to turn that light on.
