Self compassion is a powerful tool for advancing. It is not ego or esteem but a sense that your feelings, circumstances, and growth or hurt all matter. It is understanding yourself, taking the full steps to do so instead of the current aged bullshit assumption that since you’re in it, you simply get it. The pretense is a killer this world. So lets unwrap the shackles the hurt in this world has taught us to be so defensive about and open up our child-selve’s eyes. Within our imagination exists the idea that we can be destroyed or blooming. Whichever one we invest more emotion and thought, is the one which we work at and ask for from the world. That is true and that is the basis of this form of magick.
So imagine the ultimate person, a heroin hero or demigod. Whatever you want in the world, however you want to feel and the task you want to tackle is tackle-able to them. Give them detail until it gets gritty, in the way they think, value, feel, and act. What problems lay ahead of you and couldn’t you defeat in your past? What slime sticks to you that you may slip on in the coming days? How would this being ,who can do all the great stuff, feel and think when they began and finished besting these cretins? What great things are coming their way which you want? Now though, we need a drink.
Make a new concoction and don’t fucking tell anyone about it. Answer all those questions again to yourself,now. What would it feel like when this all-star bested your enemies? How would it go down when the problems which ail you were healed and overcame? How would they carry themselves with the values of a champion which you see fit in this world that you walk? What great things would happen to them, fall into their lap on this day? What would it taste like when they drank this concoction you just made. Now take a sip and feel all that meet. There is no storm to best you because you are the storm, your parade of a day awaits. Believe in what you’ve done. Pour out the rest of the drink, you need a sip and the rest is real in you. This is your magic if you believe it and a joke when you give up on it.
